Timeline

  • Date of Birth

Mark was born on this date in Bellshill.

  • Signed For Dumbarton

Mark began his career with St. Mirren and had a loan spell with Montrose in 2007. He made his St. Mirren début coming on as a substitute in the 2–0 win over Gretna on 29 March 2008.

  • Wullie Gibson fired home a stunning free kick to guide Dumbarton to their first win on the opening day of the league season in eight years as Sons defeated Hibernian 2-1. Gregor Buchanan put Stevie Aitken's men one ahead early on before Dominique Malonga equalised for Hibs just before a quarter of an hour. Then, in the second half, the stage was set for Gibson to step up and curl home a free kick to give Sons their first win over the Edinburgh side since 1984.

  • IT looked like the game which might not start. Where only the weather would win.

  • THE year of 2016 was a real 'boom and bust' time for Dumbarton.

  • Last Appearance - Dumbarton 0 - 1 Falkirk

TRUTH be told, it was all a sideshow.
