Mark started his career with Falkirk in 2006, making 77 appearances for the Bairns before signing for Bradford City in 2011. After a loan spell with Hamilton Academical in the second half of the 2011/12 season, Mark was released by Bradford and signed for Dundee but had an injury hit season. Mark then joined Kilmarnock but suffered a broken jaw after only a handful of appearances and left for Derry City in the January 2014 transfer window. After leaving Ireland in summer 2014, Mark signed for Raith Rovers and scored 25 goals in 95 appearances in his three years in Kirkcaldy.

IT all started promisingly. It looked like the breakthrough came just before the hour mark.
IT was potentially another banana skin waiting to fell Dumbarton, but in the end Sons eased to a 2-1 victory against Rangers Under-20s in the first round of the Irn Bru Cup at the Your Radio 103FM Stadium. They now look forward to welcoming Welsh opponents Connah's Quay Nomads to the Rock in round two.
